About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data warehousing solutions on Microsoft Azure using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Optimize and manage MySQL databases including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver integrated, high-quality data solutions while monitoring pipeline performance and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles focused on cloud-based architecture.
- Proven strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and MySQL database technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark preferred), with knowledge of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related business/analytical discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and optimizing cloud-native data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines primarily on Azure.
- Skilled at managing complex MySQL environments with performance tuning and data integration expertise.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with analytics teams in a dynamic environment focused on enterprise data solutions.
