About This Role
- Own cloud security for AWS and GCP environments including IAM, network security, encryption, and access controls.
- Lead application and infrastructure security efforts including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and remediation tracking.
- Integrate security into DevOps pipelines, automate security processes, incident response, and support compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Minimum Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in information security, cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP security.
- Experience integrating security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar and understanding of SOC 2 or ISO 27001 requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in securing cloud, application, and containerized infrastructure in fast-scaling environments.
- Proficient in embedding security controls directly into development and deployment pipelines (DevSecOps orientation).
- Capable of cross-functional collaboration to embed security into engineering and product workflows and handle incident response effectively.
