About This Role
- Lead architectural design and cross-domain system solutions for retail and marketplace platforms focused on Walmart's Cross Border Trade initiatives.
- Own end-to-end development and design of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications incorporating AI/ML frameworks and distributed systems technologies.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams, enforce coding and design standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical architecture with business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java, JEE, Spring, distributed databases (Cassandra), Kafka, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience in cloud-native application development on major platforms such as GCP or Azure, including CI/CD and DevOps tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of software engineering experience without a degree; Master's degree is preferred.
- This role is based in Bangalore with daily onsite work required; experience with AI/ML/GenAI frameworks is also needed.
