About This Role
- Manage and analyze agronomic data focusing on Indian crop routines, especially sugarcane in Maharashtra.
- Monitor and model international trade flows of agricultural commodities such as sugar and ethanol.
- Develop dashboards and reports to deliver insights supporting commercial strategies and collaborate with agronomists, traders, and research teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in agronomy or commodities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel is required; Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Dash) are a plus.
- Fluency in English and Marathi is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with statistical modeling, data integration, and feature engineering in agronomy or commodity contexts.
- Strong familiarity with Indian agricultural practices and international trade dynamics, particularly in sugar and ethanol sectors.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including agronomists, traders, and research teams to align data insights with business needs.
