About This Role
- Identify and assess risks and controls in product/service pre-planning and review phases, including regulatory and non-regulatory functions.
- Design and execute compliance work programs, conduct walkthroughs, document issues, and coordinate control testing with development teams.
- Collaborate with senior business and compliance leaders to report findings, recommend control improvements, and ensure timely compliance evaluation.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in audit, compliance testing, monitoring, or relevant compliance roles.
- Experience with Controls Testing, including design assessment and operational effectiveness, preferably in financial services (banks, NBFC, Insurance, Stock Broking, Fintech).
- Basic AML/OFAC knowledge preferred; familiarity with India and APAC regulations required.
- University degree or relevant audit/compliance qualifications; Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in conducting large-scale investigative compliance reviews with strong technical compliance interest.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at interpreting regulations across different businesses and jurisdictions.
- Able to establish credibility with senior business and control leaders and produce clear, concise reports independently.
