About This Role
- Own architecture, design, development, and delivery of mission-critical distributed systems and API services supporting Walmart Marketplace seller fulfilment globally.
- Lead technical vision and execution for cross-cutting services enabling Seller Center UI and APIs, including setting architectural standards and platform reliability.
- Drive large scale AI-augmented engineering practices, integrating AI/ML into platform services to improve operational efficiency and seller experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 6+ years software engineering experience OR 8+ years software engineering experience without a degree.
- Proven expertise in distributed systems, API design, platform engineering at large operational scale.
- Work Location: Bangalore office, India (daily work onsite with personal life flexibility).
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 6 years with degree, or 8 years without; master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technical IC comfortable leading complex system designs and driving architectural standards across large teams.
- Experience working at scale with distributed cloud microservices, AI integration, and platform reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to pioneer AI/ML adoption within engineering teams, with a forward-looking mindset on AI-augmented development workflows.
