About This Role
- Build and ship M’s native Android app from scratch to deliver a real-time, AI-driven conversational experience that works seamlessly across diverse devices and network conditions.
- Own features end-to-end, focusing on performance and usability on low-end Android devices under real-world constraints like flaky networks and hardware diversity.
- Collaborate with Backend and Design teams to launch the app and shape its technical roadmap, eventually owning app architecture and quality in your area.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–8 years experience building and shipping native Android apps using Kotlin, with Play Store releases.
- Proven experience handling real-device and real-network challenges in Android app development.
- Strong skills in real-time data handling and messaging-style UI implementations.
- Location: Must work full-time from Indiranagar, Bengaluru office.

- Strong depth in native Android development with a focus on robustness across device sprawl and network variability.
- Experience or interest in real-time heavy applications involving chat, voice, or streaming AI responses on mobile.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with ability to manage major app components and influence product architecture and roadmap in a startup environment.
