About This Role
- Own backend architecture for core systems scaling several-fold with responsibility for boundaries, safety, and standards.
- Design and ensure correctness, isolation, reliability, and affordability of autonomous, AI-driven, multi-tenant systems under concurrency and scale.
- Raise engineering bar through architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentorship of a fast-growing team.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years experience in backend development and distributed systems with real architecture ownership.
- Proven ability designing scalable, concurrent systems with strong data modeling, consistency, and failure mode judgment.
- Local work required in Bengaluru, office-based role.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in backend and distributed systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling complex, high-stakes transactional, agentic, or event-sourced architectures in production environments.
- Capable of making hard architectural trade-offs including build-vs-buy and cost/reliability optimization.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and setting technical standards in a fast-growing startup context.
