About This Role
- Design, develop, and own secure, scalable APIs and full-stack services for AI-driven products, covering the entire API lifecycle across multiple tech stacks, clouds, and iPaaS.
- Lead API governance including versioning, documentation, reusable frameworks, and define key NFRs/SLAs for availability, latency, throughput, and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership via design/code reviews and mentorship; drive technical discovery and platform roadmap including AI-specific integration and reuse strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in API/full-stack/backend development across multiple languages and cloud platforms.
- 2+ years in senior/lead/architect roles owning complex enterprise API and platform designs.
- Proficiency in REST (contract-first OpenAPI/Swagger), backend development in Node.js/Java/Python/Go, cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), and API security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS).
- Experience with iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi), API gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway), and SaaS integrations (NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake).

- Senior technical lead comfortable owning end-to-end API lifecycle and defining scalable, secure, enterprise-grade platform capabilities involving AI use cases.
- Experienced in multi-cloud and integration platform environments with strong backend engineering and data modelling skills fitting enterprise SaaS contexts.
- Strategic thinker who can drive API governance, cross-team collaboration, and AI-enabled integration patterns to influence platform evolution and developer experience.
