About This Role
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for proxy infrastructure issues, including installation, migration, and decommissioning of Broadcom (Bluecoat) proxy/security devices.
- Manage client and stakeholder communications, including consultations, completion date projections, and ongoing expectation management.
- Contribute to process and change management improvements by creating documentation, runbooks, and standardized change implementation templates; provide technical mentorship to team members.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering with formal training or certification.
- Hands-on experience with Broadcom (Bluecoat) proxy/security devices (ProxySG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), CAS, SSL Visibility appliances, Symantec Management Center).
- Experience with SaaS-based secure gateway vendors such as Zscaler and/or Netskope.
- Ability to work off-hours/weekends in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end design, build, testing, and deployment of proxy-based security solutions with deep understanding of network infrastructure and security.
- Familiar with automation scripting (shell/Python, Ansible), SIEM tools, REST APIs, container deployment models, and version control.
- Comfortable applying enterprise-authorized AI tools for infrastructure engineering tasks with strong validation and security awareness, and able to provide technical guidance and leadership within a large enterprise environment.
