About This Role
- Design and implement Python-based extract/load pipelines, dbt-based transformations, and Airflow orchestration for migrating Informatica PowerCenter workflows to a modern data stack.
- Translate complex Informatica workflows into equivalent Python EL scripts, dbt models, and Airflow DAGs delivering production-quality output at enterprise scale.
- Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues during validation phases and contribute to technical documentation and CI/CD pipelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience with mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
- 3+ years of hands-on dbt Core experience including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
- 3+ years of Airflow experience including DAG authoring and task dependencies.
- 5+ years of Python and SQL experience with production use of batch data processing and complex queries; experience with Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP for high-volume data movement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale data migration projects involving conversion from Informatica to Python, dbt, and Airflow.
- Technical contributor with hands-on expertise in developing, testing, and deploying production data pipelines at enterprise scale.
- Prior experience mentoring junior/mid-level engineers in an offshore delivery context is a plus but not mandatory.
