About This Role
- Own and drive the product roadmap, backlog, and adoption for an enterprise API Management platform based on Apigee, including API Developer Portal and developer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, API owners, and other stakeholders to prioritize features, drive delivery, and ensure platform security, scalability, and ease of use.
- Lead requirement gathering, business case development, and value realization efforts to support strategic product decisions and platform growth.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6+ years professional experience in technology products, digital platforms, or API Management with at least 2 years in Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, or similar roles.
- Experience working on enterprise API Management platforms (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management) including API developer portals.
- Demonstrated skills with API design/lifecycle/security (REST, OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) and Agile product delivery environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience specifically with Apigee platform components and enterprise API governance.
- Ability to balance short-term delivery trade-offs with long-term platform health and business outcomes.
- Experienced working in large, global, cross-functional organizations with a strategic view of platform modernization and developer experience improvement.
