About This Role
- Design, implement, and support high-performance, low-latency networking infrastructure including WAN, LAN, and connectivity to trading venues.
- Maintain and secure network infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs, ensuring uptime and applying critical changes possibly outside regular hours.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to explore, implement, and troubleshoot new network technologies and services.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer specifically in high-performance network design and support.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies: Low-latency networking, Unicast and Multicast routing, OSPF, BGP, PIM SM, QoS, STP, NAT, protocol tuning.
- Experience with IT security platforms: Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, Security policies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including outside regular business hours and potentially onsite at datacenters abroad.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in trading or finance domain networks supporting rapid and critical trading infrastructure.
- Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python) to improve and maintain network infrastructure.
- Collaborative operator comfortable liaising across cross-functional teams and external partners under high technical standards and uptime demands.
