About This Role
- Own solution architecture support for data modernization projects, ensuring alignment with technical standards and business goals.
- Design and implement complex data pipelines, optimize Spark jobs, and apply lakehouse best practices (medallion patterns, Delta Lake).
- Mentor junior consultants, conduct design reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and communicate technical progress and risks to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in data engineering or analytics platforms.
- Strong experience with Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
- Solid understanding of Azure-native data services and 2-5 years of consulting or engineering experience in Azure delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in translating high-level architecture into actionable delivery tasks within Agile teams.
- Skilled at integrating data platform components across App Innovation, Cloud Platform, and Data & AI teams.
- Proven ability to lead technical validation, optimize performance/cost, and support presales through technical inputs.
