About This Role
- Design, develop, optimize, and support scalable ETL/data pipelines and database solutions using Python/PySpark, SQL Server, and Microsoft SSIS.
- Troubleshoot production data applications to resolve performance, data quality, and operational issues across large-scale data platforms including Hadoop ecosystem.
- Collaborate independently and cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams on complex data engineering projects ensuring code quality, security, and automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, application/database development, or related technology roles.
- Proficient in Python/PySpark for ETL and large-scale data processing; strong skills in SQL/T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server database development and performance tuning.
- Experience with Microsoft BI/SSIS or equivalent ETL tools, enterprise scheduling tools such as AutoSys, and distributed data platforms (Hadoop/HDFS/Hive).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes; knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes preferred.

- Strong technical depth in both relational database development/performance and big data distributed platforms, with demonstrated troubleshooting and optimization skills.
- Capable of working cross-functionally with diverse teams and mentoring junior developers, balancing operational excellence with adoption of modern development and security practices.
