About This Role
- Drive strategies to improve engineering processes and optimize engineering systems/tools including PDM and CAD.
- Provide functional and technical expertise in developing, maintaining, and deploying engineering systems, databases, and applications.
- Lead troubleshooting, training, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives including SQL query development and PowerBI analytics.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, IT, or related technical field.
- Minimum 4+ years of engineering or IT experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Engineering PDM and CAD applications such as SolidWorks and Autodesk.
- Work Environment: Office-based with occasional manufacturing exposure; No travel involved.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in engineering new product development processes and how CAD/PDM/PLM integrate within workflows.
- Strong technical operator able to support software development, database management (including SQL), and system architecture design.
- Capable of independently managing complex engineering technology projects and mentoring team members on design and implementation.
