About This Role
- Build and improve core platform systems including distributed and large-scale storage systems for both cloud and on-premises control planes.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software focusing on platform scalability, performance, and deployment efficiency.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical ownership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of total work experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Scala, Python, or C#; C++ experience is a plus.
- Experience with at least two of the following: Unix/Linux, Windows, distributed systems, networking, large software systems, file/storage systems, hypervisors, databases, or security software development.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable taking ownership and managing projects in platform and infrastructure engineering related to distributed and storage systems.
- Familiarity with cloud and on-premises deployment environments, and scaling core control plane systems.
- Experience or interest in enhancing platform capabilities related to licensing, trial enablement, and deployment efficiency.
