About This Role
- Own reliability and operational health of a portfolio of internal Corporate Applications during India business hours.
- Lead technical escalation and incident response for complex, high-severity issues, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
- Guide and mentor engineers, enforce standards for monitoring, automation, and documentation, and coordinate handoffs with US-based teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of production support, site reliability, or systems engineering experience including leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Linux and Windows enterprise production experience, advanced SQL skills (Oracle or SQL Server), and expertise with batch scheduling tools (Control-M preferred).
- Experience with ITSM tools (Remedy/SmartIT or ServiceNow), monitoring tools (Splunk preferred), and scripting for automation (PowerShell, Python, or shell).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineer comfortable leading incident response and mentoring others, working with distributed teams including US stakeholders.
- Experience supporting compliance, legal, financial or procurement applications, preferably in financial services.
- Operating style focused on reliable production support, automation, and process enforcement in complex multi-team environments.
