About This Role
- Design, build, and own secure, scalable, high-performance APIs and full-stack backend services for AI-driven enterprise products across various tech stacks and clouds.
- Lead API governance including versioning, documentation, reusable frameworks, and set non-functional requirements (availability, latency, throughput, reliability).
- Drive technical discovery, platform roadmap evolution, and provide leadership through design and code reviews while mentoring engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience; 5+ years in API/full-stack/backend development across multiple languages and clouds.
- 2+ years in senior/lead/architect roles owning API and platform designs for complex, enterprise-scale systems.
- Strong expertise in API technologies (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), backend languages (Node.js, Java, Python, Go), cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP), and secure API design (OAuth 2.0/OIDC, mTLS).
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years software engineering; also 2+ years senior/lead roles explicitly required.

- Experienced technical leader adept at owning end-to-end API platform lifecycle in fast-evolving AI and cloud-native environments.
- Hands-on with AI-enabled API design, including integration of LLMs, vector databases, and AI-specific performance/security considerations.
- Skilled in driving standardization, governance, and cross-functional collaboration involving security, compliance, and product stakeholders.
