About This Role
- Lead design and end-to-end delivery of complex features on Loopio's web platform, including architecture to production implementation.
- Drive architectural decisions and system-level thinking, influencing cross-team design and execution, and build reusable frameworks to scale good patterns company-wide.
- Mentor engineers, facilitate technical discussions, collaborate with product teams and customers, and partner with ML teams to integrate and productionize AI agents and knowledge-graph features.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with a track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale.
- Strong backend/API experience in Python, Java or PHP, including designing scalable, versioned, documented APIs and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
- Frontend experience with React and JavaScript; strong understanding of relational databases like MySQL; exposure to AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, NLP) is required but deep ML expertise is not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading architectural decisions and cross-team consensus in ambiguous, multi-disciplinary environments involving engineering, ML, and product teams.
- Comfortable with hands-on software delivery as well as driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and improving development processes for team productivity.
- Has familiarity or interest in AI integration, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and evolving scalable AI-powered product features in a remote-first, globally distributed team context with collaboration across India, UK, and North America.
