About This Role
- Administer and govern the enterprise Power BI platform including tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, gateways, and deployment pipelines to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Design, develop, and support scalable business intelligence solutions including executive dashboards, semantic models, and secure analytics integrating Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure data services, and relational databases.
- Lead governance implementation for workspace management, access controls including Row-Level Security and Microsoft Entra ID group-based permissions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data connectivity and optimize BI infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or application development with at least 4 years of hands-on Power BI experience.
- Strong experience administering Power BI Service in an enterprise including governance, monitoring, capacity planning, and security.
- Proficiency in Power BI development (Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling), SQL (complex queries, optimization), and backend data integration including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/BSc or equivalent).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced BI professional with a strong operational focus on Power BI platform administration and enterprise governance practices across distributed teams.
- Hands-on developer with deep technical skills in Power BI solution architecture, performance optimization, and secure data modeling integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure data services.
- Capable of collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams to manage BI lifecycle, implement CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps, and guide governance and documentation standards.
