About This Role
- Contribute to building scalable, high-performance Java applications using microservices, REST APIs, and message brokers like Kafka.
- Maintain and improve software quality through debugging, automated testing, code reviews, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Support Agile team goals by influencing software architecture and maintaining reliable, extensible infrastructure that meets SLAs.
Minimum Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, testing, and implementation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related STEM discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8, Data Structures & Algorithms, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, Kafka, Spring Boot, and experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and Agile methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building scalable, low-latency multi-threaded and reactive Java applications with expertise in design patterns and system design.
- Able to influence software architecture and Agile team development practices with a focus on maintainability, testability, and user-friendliness.
- Comfortable working in global, multi-national engineering teams and handling operational responsibilities for software deployments and infrastructure.
