Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own and drive the product roadmap for robotics data collection tooling, including capture applications, operator workflows, session management, QA, and customer delivery.
- Set and enforce quality standards for egocentric data, optimizing for yield, rejection rate, cost per usable hour, capture-to-delivery time, and operator retention.
- Collaborate closely with researchers, operators, and hyperscaler teams to define capture models, tooling, and translate customer model requirements into practical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of product management experience including at least 2 years in robotics, physical AI, AR/VR, autonomous systems, or large-scale data collection.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
- Technical expertise to engage deeply with research teams and familiarity with robotics data pipelines, egocentric/wearable data capture, teleoperation systems, or similar.
- Work Experience Required: 8-12 years in product management with specific domain experience as above.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in hands-on robotics roles such as robotics or ML engineer on embodied models, teleoperation engineer, or similar engineering roles related to robotics data and hardware.
- Ability to manage distributed human operations including contractor and crowd workforces effectively.
- Proven capability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments defining product vision and iterative pilot-based product testing approaches.
