About This Role
- Lead end-to-end Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud migrations, including planning, execution, validation, and rollback.
- Administer and optimize Jira Data Center, Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, and related Atlassian environments with configuration of workflows, schemes, permissions, and automation rules.
- Develop integrations and custom automations using ScriptRunner, Groovy, JavaScript, REST APIs, and ensure system performance, security, compliance, and disaster recovery for thousands of users.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Jira Administration experience across Data Center and Cloud environments.
- Proven experience leading enterprise Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud migration projects.
- Technical skills including workflow/scheme configurations, Jira Automation, user access management, Okta integration, REST API integrations, and foundational SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing large-scale Atlassian environments with 500 to 10,000+ users and multi-node Data Center deployments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using ScriptRunner, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python to customize and integrate Jira environments.
- Ability to independently own complex migration initiatives while collaborating closely with DevOps, PMO, and business stakeholders.
