About This Role
- Architect, build, and optimize scalable batch and real-time data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
- Provide technical leadership and define best practices across data engineering workflows including data modeling, distributed computing, and code efficiency.
- Lead modernization efforts to retire legacy infrastructure, adopting cloud-native data platforms while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with data governance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, programming, and data engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala), Python, SQL, and experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Flink).
- Experience with modern data warehousing/lakehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and orchestration tools (Apache Airflow) mandatory.

- Experienced technical leader capable of leading complex data engineering projects and advising senior stakeholders as an SME.
- Strong background in large-scale distributed data processing, cloud-native data architectures, and migration of legacy systems.
- Skilled in implementing data governance, risk and control compliance, with focus on performance optimization and automated testing frameworks.
