About This Role
- Provide day-to-day transactional purchasing support to US plant manufacturing requirements.
- Execute purchase order administration including creation, amendments, tracking milestones, and managing supplier acknowledgements in ERP system.
- Monitor open orders and delivery performance, proactively escalate risks to US supply chain team, and support data analysis and MIS reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- 3-5 years experience in Procurement Operations (Purchasing/Buying).
- Exposure to procurement ERP systems such as XA, SAP, Oracle, Infor, or JD Edwards.
- Experience collaborating remotely with global stakeholders, especially US based operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong operational focus on purchase order process management and supply chain coordination.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical component procurement in manufacturing operations.
- Comfortable working in a global supply chain environment with US and India teams, providing prompt and accurate communication and reporting.
