About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of complex cloud-native platform components, managing full lifecycle from design to production operation.
- Serve as technical lead for major features, translating ambiguous problems into scalable, executable designs aligned with platform architecture and strategy.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in core Kubernetes system development, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence and risk resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 14+ years experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms in production.
- Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes platform infrastructure including Operators, Controllers, CRDs using Kubebuilder or Operator Framework.
- Strong software engineering skills in Go, with deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and experience operating stateful and distributed workloads on Kubernetes.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers, CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
