About This Role
- Own design, development, and integration of .NET/C# software components for semiconductor test orchestration and messaging systems using Apache Kafka/Pulsar.
- Lead end-to-end accountability for real-time messaging infrastructure and distributed data pipelines, including debugging and production deployment.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to gather requirements, conduct code/design reviews, mentor juniors, and drive adoption of TDD and BDD methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical ownership.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET ecosystem including multithreading, asynchronous programming, API design.
- Practical experience with distributed messaging platforms like Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field; On-site work required in Chennai, India; strong communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and hands-on development of distributed messaging and real-time data pipeline systems in a .NET environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with globally distributed engineering teams, especially with US-based stakeholders.
- Skilled in driving technical decisions and ownership in complex, multi-component software integrating closely with hardware or industrial automation systems (preferred but not mandatory).
