About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of Java-based microservices for core eCommerce customer journeys including search, cart, checkout, and personalization.
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure cloud-native commerce platforms on Azure/AWS/GCP with performance tuning and integration of key systems like PIM, OMS, CRM, and payment gateways.
- Provide technical leadership across squads including mentoring engineers, enforcing DevSecOps/CI/CD best practices, and ensuring observability through tools like Datadog and Splunk.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong Java skills (Java 11+ preferred, ideally Java 17 or 21), with experience in Spring Boot and J2EE.
- At least 2 years hands-on cloud experience with Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable; cloud certification preferred.
- Experience with RDBMS (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, DB2), SQL tuning, and message brokers like RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; work experience required not explicitly stated.
