About This Role
- Design, develop, and test embedded control system features using MATLAB and Simulink for Caterpillar machinery.
- Gather and document product and system requirements to specify control system needs.
- Provide post-production support by collaborating with clients and partner teams to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in Embedded Control System Software Development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, control systems, MIL & SIL testing, AUTOSAR architecture, and software testing tools (CANalyzer, CANape).
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills with knowledge of software configuration and testing tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end embedded control system development lifecycle including requirement gathering and testing.
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and optimize complex control systems.
- Capable of effective communication to explain complex technical concepts and collaborate across software layers and teams.
