About This Role
- Translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions focusing on regulatory reporting and liquidity risk.
- Design and develop data models, conduct data analysis, and prepare data for AI/ML model development ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to define data requirements, provide technical input for system development, and lead risk identification and mitigation related to data.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience as a Senior PySpark Python Data Engineer or similar role in Financial Services, preferably with regulatory reporting and liquidity risk focus.
- Advanced proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2), and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, cloud platforms like AWS S3, Databricks).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
- Experience with data modeling, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView), and working knowledge of data governance and SDLC in data projects.

- Experienced in managing high-impact, data-centric projects within regulated financial environments, specifically regulatory reporting (Basel, CCAR, FR 2052a) and liquidity risk.
- Skilled at bridging business and technical teams, capable of defining detailed data architecture requirements and providing technical leadership.
- Proficient in advanced data engineering and analytics, including preparing data for AI/ML models and recommending system enhancements based on evolving business needs.
