About This Role
- Lead technical strategy and architecture for Crunchyroll's member-focused eCommerce platform.
- Own design and delivery of scalable, reliable, and operationally resilient backend services including APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, resolve ambiguities, and ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- 10+ years experience building and operating cloud-native software and distributed systems.
- Proven staff-level technical leadership across multiple engineers or teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and backend services for large scale consumer-facing SaaS eCommerce platforms.
