About This Role
- Develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical AS400 applications using CA-Plex, RPG, and C++ generated code.
- Provide L2 and L3 production support including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and break-fix activities for AS400 systems.
- Collaborate with business users, infrastructure teams, and vendors to support deployments, operational controls, and system integrity checks.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–8 years of experience in AS400 application development and production support.
- Proficiency in CA-Plex, RPG/RPGLE, C++, DB2/400, and SQL is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Location requirement: Bangalore (also mentions Mumbai and Pune as locations).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing production support at L2/L3 levels for AS400 applications in large-scale environments.
- Strong technical skills in AS400 ecosystem including CA-Plex, RPG, C++, and DB2/400 aligned with enterprise application development.
- Capable of performing root cause analysis, incident management, and collaborating across technical and business teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
