About This Role
- Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities in leveraged loans and private corporate credit in UK and Europe.
- Monitor portfolio exposures, identify risks, and conduct thematic and sector research to inform investment decisions.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior analysts, driving analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Requirements
- 9-12 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, high-yield/loan research, private credit, credit underwriting, investment banking, rating advisory, or related fields.
- MBA, CA, or equivalent postgraduate/professional qualification required; CFA, CFA candidacy, or FRM is desirable but not mandatory.
- Advanced financial modelling skills including Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg; experience with Python, VBA, Power BI is desirable.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid with minimum three days per week in Mumbai office.

- Experienced in underwriting complex leveraged finance credits and influencing investment or risk decisions with a track record across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical capability to challenge assumptions and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into actionable recommendations.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring research teams aligned with onshore leveraged finance units and senior credit professionals.
