About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and integrate with Oracle/MongoDB ensuring performance and security.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and code quality.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across locations (ISPL and Paris teams) and participate actively in project meetings to meet quality deliverables within timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of work experience in Java backend development.
- Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Oracle and MongoDB integration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Location requirement: Chennai.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in using Java-related technologies with practical knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit and code quality tools such as Sonar.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-location team environment including international coordination with Paris team.
- Familiar with development lifecycle practices including CI/CD tools such as Maven, Gitlab CI, and containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
