About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain capabilities for the Backbase Mobile Platform, focusing on Identity and Authentication for mobile banking apps.
- Lead engineering excellence initiatives by writing clean Swift code and improving SDKs and libraries with an AI-native approach.
- Ensure high-quality product delivery through 80%+ unit test coverage, CI/CD automation, and active collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of professional native iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift; practical experience with Objective-C.
- Experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payments app development domain.
- Expertise in iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, VIPER) and frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine/RxSwift).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proactive in driving AI adoption in engineering workflows and product capabilities.
- Skilled in asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and mobile security best practices.
- Experienced in agile product development with a strong engineering culture and CI/CD (Bitrise, GitHub Actions) familiarity.
