About This Role
- Drive end-to-end production planning including monthly, weekly, and daily schedules to meet delivery commitments and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate material planning and inventory optimization ensuring timely material availability and reducing excess inventory.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve constraints and support New Product Introduction planning.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering mandatory; MBA in Operations or Supply Chain preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in Production Planning and Control (PPC) within MTS, MTO, and Configure-to-Order environments in relevant manufacturing sectors.
- Strong expertise required in PPC, MPS, MRP, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, and Production Scheduling.
- Experience with ERP systems essential (Infor M3 knowledge advantageous).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in manufacturing sectors such as Genset, Power Equipment, Capital Goods, Electrical Equipment, Automotive OEMs, or Heavy Engineering.
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, S&OP processes, and data analysis tools like Power BI and Advanced Excel for KPI management.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills suited for leadership in production planning.
