About This Role
- Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS) including GST, PAYG, and other related taxes on monthly, quarterly, or annual basis as required.
- Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of tax liabilities, including reconciliation of GST accounts and verification of PAYG withholding.
- Communicate with internal teams and Australian RTS to resolve BAS-related queries, discrepancies, or audits, and prepare internal tax compliance reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in accounting or finance-related field preferred.
- Strong intermediate Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in related accounting or finance field preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in tax compliance and BAS preparation with understanding of GST, PAYG withholding, and Australian tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem resolution, communication, and organizational skills suitable for fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Capable of interfacing with cross-functional teams and managing escalations effectively within financial services or investment product contexts.
