About This Role
- Own the end-to-end architecture, codebase, releases, and quality of the mobile app for iOS and Android.
- Build and maintain foundational mobile features including navigation, state management, authentication, push notifications, offline support, and real-time updates.
- Manage mobile CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, performance monitoring, and coordinate with backend engineers on API consumption and Node.js services as required.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years software engineering experience with at least 3 years shipping production mobile apps.
- Strong, hands-on React Native with TypeScript expertise; solid React fundamentals mandatory.
- Experience releasing at least one app live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store with demonstrable ownership.
- Working knowledge of native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development for handling native modules and platform-specific issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full product ownership as a hands-on engineer from architecture to deployment in mobile apps.
- Comfortable working in a distributed US–India team with clear written communication.
- Cross-functional abilities spanning front-end React Native and backend Node.js for API integration and support.
