About This Role
- Maintain reliability and performance of large-scale fintech infrastructure focusing on Linux/Unix systems and networking.
- Implement best practices and IT operations to ensure services are always-up and always-available, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Work hands-on with open source technologies, cloud services, databases (MySQL, MariaDB, Percona), automation tools (SaltStack), and private cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-4 years of hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in Linux/Unix administration.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration and computer networking including IP, iptables, IPsec.
- Experience with MySQL databases; knowledge of MariaDB or Percona is a plus.
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as SaltStack; coding/scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Golang.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with private cloud and open source technologies relevant to SRE tasks in fintech environments.
- Demonstrates strong Linux networking skills and database management abilities, including familiarity with MySQL variants and Galera clusters.
- Capable of working in on-call rotation and maintaining service uptime under demanding operational conditions.
