About This Role
- Maintain reliability and performance of large-scale fintech infrastructure with a focus on always-available services.
- Own Linux/Unix system administration and networking including IP, iptables, IPsec, MySQL and associated databases.
- Implement automation and configuration management using tools like SaltStack and participate in on-call rotations.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration with strong networking knowledge.
- Proficient in open source technologies, cloud services, and private cloud environments (e.g., KVM/QEMU).
- Working knowledge of MySQL databases; experience with MariaDB and Percona is a plus.
- Coding and scripting skills in Perl, Python, or Golang and experience with automation/configuration management tools like SaltStack.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced Site Reliability Engineer with solid Linux networking and database management skills (MySQL, Galera clusters).
- Familiarity with container orchestration and NoSQL databases (especially Aerospike) is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, on-call environment supporting large fintech infrastructures.
