About This Role
- Lead procurement activities to support new product development and launch, ensuring supplier readiness and risk mitigation from concept through production.
- Manage sourcing strategy execution, including supplier selection, RFQ/RFP processes, cost management, and launch readiness tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Supplier teams to accelerate time-to-market while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement, sourcing, commodity management, supply chain, or engineering experience.
- Experience supporting product launches or new product development programs.
- Experience working with technical or manufacturing suppliers; industry experience preferred in automotive, HVAC, industrial equipment, electronics, aerospace, or complex manufacturing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end NPI procurement within complex manufacturing industries with focus on supplier readiness and launch execution.
- Strong strategic sourcing skills with ability to evaluate supplier risks, negotiate commercial terms, and align sourcing with long-term strategies.
- Proven collaborator comfortable driving cross-functional engagement and managing multiple stage-gate milestones to meet timing and cost objectives.
