About This Role
- Own end-to-end predictive modeling and machine learning projects, including model development, validation, tuning, and deployment.
- Translate complex business problems into data science solutions delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Lead and guide junior team members while ensuring robustness, interpretability, and audit-compliant documentation of models.
Minimum Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in data science or related fields.
- Numerical-based degree or postgraduate qualification.
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch), SQL, and Databricks/PySpark for data processing and model development.
- Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning techniques, MLOps (model deployment, monitoring), and GitHub/DevOps for code control and CI/CD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling large complex datasets with feature engineering and working in distributed data environments like Databricks.
- Ability to communicate complex model outputs clearly to stakeholders and link model results to business decisions.
- Familiarity with financial services, insurance, or actuarial analytics environments and experience in coaching or reviewing junior colleagues.
