Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own end-to-end investor reporting, including LP reports, capital account statements, portfolio updates, and fund performance metrics (IRR, TVPI, DPI, MOIC).
- Manage day-to-day fund accounting operations: NAV computation, capital calls, distributions, investment fund flows, regulatory and tax compliance, and management company finance.
- Serve as primary contact for LPs, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, ensuring timely, accurate financials, compliance filings, audits, and smooth investor relations.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Bachelor of Commerce degree.
- 4-6 years experience in investor reporting, fund accounting, fund administration, audit or finance operations within VC, PE, or asset management.
- Working knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, FEMA/RBI reporting, and Indian tax provisions applicable to funds and investors.
- Hands-on experience with capital calls, distributions, management fees, carried interest calculations, and waterfall mechanics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling full investor reporting cycles and fund accounting hands-on, not just reviewing deliverables.
- Comfortable working in small, less structured teams interacting directly with partners, LPs, auditors, and advisors.
- Strong process ownership with ability to deliver accurate, audit-ready financials against strict deadlines, especially around quarter-end and audits.
