About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications primarily using COBOL, JCL, and IBM DB2 technologies.
- Analyze requirements and troubleshoot issues to deliver high-quality, optimized code with a focus on application and database performance.
- Participate in full development lifecycle including impact analysis, root cause analysis, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe development including COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
- Proficient in IBM DB2 SQL queries, database troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Location: Bangalore; Work model: Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days remote).

- Experienced in mainframe application development with demonstrated ability to manage production support and enhancements.
- Familiar with debugging, batch processing, and database performance optimization in a large-scale mainframe environment.
- Capable of working effectively with distributed teams and collaborating across business analysts, architects, QA, and technical stakeholders.
