About This Role
- Develop and expand internal Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) technology, automation, and assurance capabilities focusing on IT controls, audit, evidence collection, and compliance reporting.
- Build secure APIs, data pipelines, modern web applications (React), and automation to reduce manual compliance and SOX/ITGC audit activities.
- Collaborate with GRC practitioners to translate compliance requirements into technical solutions, enhance integrations, system reliability, and enable responsible AI-assisted compliance workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong skills in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in React or similar frameworks.
- Experience with REST API design/consumption, Git-based workflows, and understanding of software development lifecycle including testing and deployment.
- Ability and interest to learn GRC, SOX, IT controls, audit, and compliance concepts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced software developer with a mix of application development and automation focused on compliance or enterprise systems.
- Capable of working closely with non-technical stakeholders (GRC practitioners) to translate complex compliance processes into scalable technical solutions.
- Familiarity or interest in compliance domains like SOX, ITGC, cybersecurity, and AI integration in compliance workflows.
