About This Role
- Prepare journal entries related to accruals, prepaid, revenue, banks, and perform account analysis for submission.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, follow up, and clear open items ensuring ageing controls.
- Assist Finance Controllers in month-end reporting and closing; work night shifts especially during month-end.
- Take end-to-end responsibility of delivery and manage extended hours during month-end as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Accounting degree required; Chartered Accountant preferred.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge of Excel formulas and macros is a plus.
- Willingness to work evening or night shifts; location based in Mumbai, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
- Able to adapt to changing environments and take on additional activities beyond core duties.
- Comfortable working night shifts particularly during month-end closings.
