About This Role
- Lead data engineering workstreams for client-facing data modernization engagements using cloud platforms and data warehousing tools.
- Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while balancing multiple priorities and guiding technical teams through development and delivery.
- Translate client business needs into actionable technical solutions and coach junior team members through feedback and mentoring.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
- Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance including policy, claims, billing, underwriting data processes.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire X-Center, Guidewire data model, data warehouse concepts, SQL, ETL, and agile delivery tools (Jira, Confluence).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and delivering data modernization projects in cloud environments (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
- Able to translate complex business requirements, particularly in insurance, into technical data engineering solutions with strong ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Capable of coaching and mentoring junior staff and comfortable working in agile, collaborative settings.
