About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Manage and mentor data engineering teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of data pipelines and cloud data platforms.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer.
- Mandatory Banking or Financial Services domain experience, including understanding customer, transaction, regulatory, risk, and compliance data.
- Advanced SQL and Python programming skills; experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling and Cloud-based data platforms.
- Location: Pune; working model is hybrid; relevant cloud certifications (GCP Data Engineer or Cloud certifications).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior data engineer comfortable leading technical teams and managing end-to-end delivery on GCP.
- Familiar with Banking/Financial Services data domains and regulatory requirements, able to handle complex data governance and compliance.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication, risk and resource management in Agile/CI/CD environments, with a focus on operational best practices and mentoring.
