Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own end-to-end production platform operations encompassing deployments, monitoring, alerts, updates, and reliability for a healthcare AI-native platform.
- Manage backups and continuously verify restore capabilities to ensure data and system recoverability, with a focus on HIPAA compliance and security evidence readiness.
- Develop, automate, and maintain security operations, compliance checks, incident response, access and secrets management, and platform documentation alongside a senior compliance consultant.
Minimum Requirements
- Work Experience Required: Hands-on experience with startup system/platform operations including cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, and security basics.
- Ability to prove backups restore and systems recover; practical coding and automation skills for platform and security tasks.
- Must be available for live collaboration between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM IST to overlap with US Pacific Time and commit approximately 50 hours per week.
- Not explicitly mentioned: mandatory degree or location beyond 'Remote - India'; healthcare technology experience preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in broad ownership roles integrating DevOps, security operations, and compliance in fast-moving startup or small-team environments, especially with regulated data.
- Methodical and pragmatic operator who prioritizes risk reduction through automation, reliable processes, and continuous evidence gathering rather than theoretical or over-complex solutions.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate automation, security checks, and operational workflows while maintaining strict control over permissions and compliance.
